The club maintains close links with local schools to foster outreach into community sport.

WRFC hold an Annual Primary School Tag Rugby Festival at the club for Years 5 & 6 boys and girls for schools both within the Borough and further afield from Dorchester and Puddletown.

Our coaches go into many local schools to assist with coaching and refereeing. If you would like someone to contact you about setting up Tag Rugby in your school please contact us, letting us know which school you represent.

Annual Schools 7 a-side Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Festival

12.30pm for a 1.00pm start with a 3.30pm finish at Weymouth Rugby Club on Wednesday,17th October 2007.
The ratio is 5/2 (girls minimum).

Open Day at WRFC - 5th March 2008.
Training and coaching in the morning and competitive matches in the afternoon. The winners go forward to the Dorset Games at the Bryanston School, Blandford in July 2008.
