Weymouth Rugby Club held their post season Ruby Union Proficiency Award
assessments on the 24th May. Organiser and lead coach Gordon
Harding said that this year was particularly good with a very high standard
of rugby skills demonstrated. The Rugby Union Proficiency Awards are an important
tool to help players, teachers and coaches assess rugby union skills. They
are designed to be an enjoyable method by which players can identify their
strong skills and the skills that they need to develop. Players can can also
assess and improve their level of fitness for Rugby Union. This year Weymouth
Rugby Club achieved a remarkable Eight Bronze and Eleven Silver Awards.

Weymouth Rugby Club will start the 2008/9 Rugby Union Proficiency Award skills
