Weymouth u 12 vs Ivel Barbarians and Dorchester
In the first game of this triangular tournament, Weymouth got into their stride early on and two tries by Zac Snyden placed them well in control at half time. The second half was dissapointing and some weak tackling allowed Ivel back into the match to snatch a late draw with the last move of the game.
In the second game, weymouth went down by 4 tries to one against a robust Dorchester side. One try from Josh Brunel after a smart piece of thinking at a penalty was scant reward for some of the best rugby weymouth played all season. They put down two certain tries with dropped passes and the scoreline subsequently did not reflect the effort of the weymouth lads. The boys are all responding well to training and are capable of playing very good rugby on their day.The coaches will work hard this week on tackling drills before the next match.
